My Blog

A place where I share my process, my work, ideas and have conversations with like minded souls.

I know you must have missed this ....

I know you must have missed my last post about all the new pretty little things in my shop!

And guess what, now there are even more.

I say you must have missed the post because there are so many affordable, beautiful things in my shop these days that I know YOU just haven’t had the time to visit.

I’m of course just being facetious [adjective: treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor; flippant] but have you seen these beautiful vellum folders. Surely you haven’t. Have a look here. I only have a few left and will stop making them soon as I move to new ideas.

These are filled with beautiful handmade cards, and stamps and ephemera to fill your journal pages. Go check these out here.

And as I mentioned, of course I am moving to new (old) ideas and I have also made 6 more journals. If you are familiar with Travellers Notebooks and Midor journals, you’ll understand the concept and the versatility of journals with elastic bands. Not only can you insert and re-insert your own pages, you can also keep reusing my covers for your journal pages!

The journal covers are one of a kind and I only have these left in stock - and the only reason why - is that I keep using them for myself!!

Before I started creating these covers, I used to work in 3 or 4 different (highly priced) journals just because of the type of paper inside. Sometimes I wanted to work on watercolors, and sometimes I wanted plain kraft paper. Other times I wanted to work on my caligraphy using my Tomoe River paper. Now I make a journal cover and insert whatever pages I need for what I am into at the time. If I am not sure what I want to do, I include all 3 paper types at the same time and then if something good comes of the work, I pull the pages apart and insert them into a new journal cover!

Need I say it, support small business, enjoy handmade and share in the joy that I have creating these for you. I only create for you, what I use myself.

PS. If you have any questions on the folders or journals or any other items in the shop (because I may have left out some details in the description), please feel free to send me an email - I’m here to answer your questions.

PSS. I love comments - leave one below- it let’s me know someone is listening!
