Pretty Little Things ... and they are in my shop!

Hello, hello. It has been so long. Hope you are doing well and that covid restrictions are easing up wherever you are as they are here in Montreal.

I’m popping in to tell you that I have restocked the shop with many beautiful, pretty little things!

I’ve had a crazy, creative summer inspired by new finds in Japanese and Malaysian online shops - thanks to covid no less.! But I can’t possibly keep this all to myself.

I’ll write more about these shops and give you links in another post but look at these beautiful collages I created using their papers.

I’ve also created tons of ephemera and journaling fodder using all my new supplies. And then, inspired by so many talented artists on instagram, I also created these lovely folders to “house” all these lovely findings.

But my true love this summer has been my collage work. I have spent endless hours creating both big and small collages using all sorts of materials: thin slips of translucent Japanese papers, bold and colorful cardstock, mulberry paper, and hand painted tissue paper hung over my deck to dry.

I had intended to keep this post short but I got too excited telling you all about this - so enough - head over to the shop now - here’s the link - SHOP.

Have you been introduced to these Japanese products, perhaps during COVID, let me know in the comments.
